Product Description

Fuji APERTO Lucent Open MRI System – High-Performance Mid-Field MRI
The Fuji APERTO Lucent MRI System is a mid-field open MRI designed for imaging centers and healthcare facilities that want dependable diagnostic performance with a more comfortable patient experience. Its open design helps reduce patient anxiety while allowing easier access for technologists, caregivers, and patients who may be claustrophobic, elderly, pediatric, bariatric, or mobility-limited.

Built around a 0.4T permanent, self-shielded magnet, APERTO Lucent offers a space-saving MRI platform with no helium requirement and simplified siting needs compared with many superconductive MRI systems. The system also includes advanced Fujifilm imaging technologies such as IP-Recon, RADAR, RF FatSat, and VASC-ASL to support image quality, motion reduction, and clinical flexibility.
Key Features of the Fuji APERTO Lucent
0.4T Mid-Field Open MRI Design
APERTO Lucent combines open MRI comfort with a 0.4T field strength, giving facilities a practical imaging solution for routine diagnostic MRI exams.
Permanent Magnet Technology
The system uses a permanent, self-shielded magnet with no helium requirement, helping reduce infrastructure complexity and long-term operating considerations.
Space-Saving Siting Requirements
APERTO Lucent is designed for efficient installation with minimal room dimensions of approximately 17'5" by 13'2", helping facilities maximize available space.
Wide Lateral-Shift Floating Table
The wide floating table supports up to 500 lb and lowers to 20 inches, helping improve patient access, positioning, and technologist workflow.
RADAR Motion Artifact Reduction
RADAR radial scan technology helps reduce motion artifacts from patient movement, minimizing rescans and improving the patient experience.

IP-Recon Image Reconstruction
IP-Recon iterative reconstruction helps boost SNR and supports excellent spatial resolution across neuro, vascular, and orthopedic imaging applications.

RF FatSat and Multi-Channel Shimming
RF FatSat and active multi-channel shimming help enhance image contrast and provide fat suppression for MSK and neuro imaging applications.
VASC-ASL Non-Contrast MRA
VASC-ASL enables non-contrast 3D blood flow visualization for applications such as carotid, renal, portal vein, and extremity vascular imaging.
High-Sensitivity Solenoid Coils
Specialized solenoid coils help improve signal capture and resolution for small field-of-view imaging, with coil options for head, wrist, shoulder, knee, body, and general-purpose applications.
Ideal Clinical Applications
The Fuji APERTO Lucent MRI system is well suited for facilities performing a broad range of MRI studies, including:
- Neuro imaging
- Spine imaging
- Orthopedic and MSK imaging
- Vascular imaging
- Body imaging
- Pediatric MRI
- Claustrophobic or anxious patient exams
- Bariatric and mobility-limited patient imaging
Why Choose the Fuji APERTO Lucent?
